The Mom & Dad Project receives substantial grant to keep services alive in Big Bear!

The Mom & Dad Project, a leading nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for families living in rural San Bernardino Mountain communities, is honored to announce a $500,000 grant from the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians.

This significant grant will fund essential programs and services that The Mom & Dad Project offers to the underserved mountain communities of Big Bear and surrounding areas. This funding represents a crucial investment in addressing the unique needs and challenges faced by families in rural communities, particularly in the realms of Family Resource Centers.

The Mom & Dad Project's mission is to provide connection, education, and resources to everyone involved in raising a child.

The Mom & Dad Project:

In The Media

The outstanding achievements RORIE accomplished are a testament to the unwavering dedication and hard work of their program members. The Mom & Dad Project, co-located at The Bear Valley Community Healthcare District's Family Health Center in Big Bear Lake, CA epitomizes RORIE's excellence, showcasing how healthcare settings like these form the backbone of Reach Out and Read nationwide.

The Mom & Dad Project expands these achievements by not only providing anticipatory guidance, but also essential resources to support local families who may not have access to necessary resources otherwise.

As we conclude this year, RORIE and The Mom & Dad Project extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported them in empowering children through literacy. Your support has been invaluable in making a difference in the lives of young readers and their families.

FOOD DRIVE 2023

"We have the power to make a difference
and spread joy in the world!"

The Mom & Dad Project along with other nonprofits in the Inland Empire come together to feed those in need this holiday season.

For the last 10 years, the Inland Empire Community Collaborative (IECC) has teamed up with local nonprofits to provide thousands of meals to families in the Inland Empire. These meals are provided by Los Angeles-based nonprofit Navidad en el Barrio, a nonprofit agency that seeks food donations from major food companies to create food baskets for the holidays.

Thank you to all who made this Food Drive 2023 a success!
